Step 1: Find a Line on Your Resume

Look at your current resume and find a line that feels a bit weak or passive. It usually sounds something like this:

  • “Responsible for managing the weekly newsletter.”
  • “Helped plan the annual marketing event.”
  • “Handled customer support queries.”

Step 2: Copy the "Magic" Prompt

This is the instruction we’ll give the AI. It's the most important part. We’re telling it to act like a professional career coach, not just a text generator.

Copy this entire block of text:

Use strong action verbs and, where possible, suggest what kind of metric or number I could add to make it even better. Give me 3 different options.

Step 3: Use the Prompt in Gemini

  1. Go to the Google Gemini website.
  2. In the chat box, paste the "Magic" Prompt you just copied.
  3. Now, replace the [PASTE YOUR RESUME LINE HERE] part with the weak line from your own resume.
  4. Hit Enter.

Step 4: See the Results

The AI will now give you a few professionally-worded alternatives. Let’s look at our example: “Responsible for managing the weekly newsletter.”
